Hi, I'm Amelia! I'm a full time student and beauty blogger living and working in the Southeast United States. I'm originally from England and hoping to move back to the UK soon. I'm an absolute beauty junkie (not helped by the fact that I work at a Cosmetics Company Store) and Harry Potter fanatic. If you want to get to know me better, you can read this post.

Forever Products

I have products in my collection that are super unnecessary but I also have products that I probably couldn't live without (lol first world prob). But really, these are products that I use every single day and will repurchase over and over again.

Benefit BadGal Lash is a product I have used for years and years. I buy the mini version as I find I prefer the brush. You guys are gonna think I'm a weirdo but I let this sucker dry out and use it to sort of prime my lashes for mascara. For whatever reason it gives me a bit of volume but it REALLY lets my other mascaras grab on to my lashes.

MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot I used to think I would never use anything but the UDPP, but I found this at a CCO maybe two years ago and I've never looked back. I do still love the Urban Decay, but I really like that Soft Ochre creates a blank canvas on my lids. It's also good for those days where I'm wearing makeup but not eyeshadow (rare).

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder I have been using this baby for as long as I can remember. I had a brief flirtation with the MAC MSF Natural, but for the price nothing can beat this. I'm not really a powder person, but I use it to set my T-zone.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black I got a mini of the Black Nirvana for Christmas and I absolutely fell in love. It has really become my signature scent. I wore something different the other day for some reason, and my friend asked me why I smelt different. I also get an unreal amount of compliments on this slightly unusual smell. I think I'll stick with it.

Anastasia DipBrow in Chocolate we've all seen this one on my blog far too many times but I just love it SO much. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to use up because I've had it forever and hardly made a dent. So, I'm sure I won't actually be repurchasing any time soon but if I had to, I definitely would. I really don't know how my brows would survive without it.

MAC Nylon Eyeshadow I use this sucker every single day in my inner corner, clearly. I've had it for several years and it's still going strong. If MAC ever discontinues this I will be stocking up. It's just the perfect neutral toned inner corner highlight and I love it.

What are your must-have can't-live-without products? Let me know!

More Colourpop

My friend ordered some ColourPop goodies a few weeks ago and when she asked if I wanted to order something so we didn't have to pay shipping, I said heck yes. I restrained myself to only buying three things, but I'm already itching to pick up things from the new collections. Can you tell I stalk their website? Everything is $5, or $8 for blushes, and I just can't flippin' resist.

I decided on two Lippie Stix and a Super Shock Shadow. The shadow I chose is called Gameface and it is BEAUTIFUL. I have never gotten so many compliments on an eyeshadow look before this beauty.  It's a warm, coppery bronze in the 'Ultra Metallic' finish and I love it. I wore it today on the inner half of my lid in a bronzy smokey eye and it made my eyes look amazingly green. I talked in detail about their formula in my original post, but I just wanna poke it.

Lumière (which is ColourPop's collar with KathleenLights) is perfect, like oh my goodness. Anybody in the whole world could rock this lip. And that is coming from someone whole generally solely wears nothing or a dark red lip. It's a matte "dusty" mauve colour and it makes my lips look so fabulous. Basically just trust me and buy it, you won't be disappointed. I also decided on Fetch because Shannon said it was bright without being too bright and complimented her green eyes. Like I said, I pretty much exclusively wear dark red so this bright pink was a big jump. I haven't worn it out yet but the satiny finish and warm tone really is beautiful. As I said in my last post, the formula on these is AMAZING and I want to eat them.

I'm already making a wish list of products I want to order next. What are your favourites?

March Favourites

March has been a month of well-loved and well-used products. I found a new favorite foundation combo and stepped a teeny bit out of the matte eyeshadow black hole.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and MUFE Mat Velvet + I don't know why I never thought to mix these foundations because Maybelline's is a bit too dewy and not lasting enough whereas the MUFE is too matte for my liking currently. I have loved them separately but as it gets hotter where I live, I find that this combo stays put all day. I also mix with my Manic Panic white foundation as this is far too dark (pale people probs).

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Skimpy and Creature Okay I'm either in a nude (like no colour) lip mood or a dark lip mood so these have been my jam this month. I did just get another order with some exciting(ish) colors so look out for that Monday. I have an extensive post talking about the formula of these here, but I'm still head over heels.

Too Faced Hangover Rx I picked this up fairly recently but my skin has never been better and I am in love. Again, post here going into detail. If you can afford to shell out $30 on a primer (I had to forgo coffee for two weeks eek) pick it up, you'll thank yourself.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheeks in Aphrodisiac This shade has been SO perfect for my poor pale skin. I apply it onto my cheeks after I contour and the slight pink tone brings some life back into my face. Also I just want to poke it all day.

Colourpop Super Shock Eyes in Mittens Hello perfect smoky crease colour. Again, formula is the coolest thing you will ever touch in your entire existence. The colour is slightly red-toned which brings out the green in my eyes and holy COW is it pigmented. It almost stained my eyelids. I'm okay with that.

NYX Wonder Pencil I've been somewhat sloppy with my poor brows early in the morning but a quick swipe and blend of this underneath the little suckers makes them look flawless again. I also like to use it above my cupids bow and it works wonders to sharpen up a dark lip.

Individual Lashes I also just did this post, but adding a few lashes to the corner of your eyes makes a BIG difference and I have been loving that look this month.

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara When I first got this I absolutely hated it because it was so liquify and heavy. It's dried out a bit and reached that perfect texture that makes my lashes look like falsies. Buy it and let it sit for a while, maybe leave the cap unscrewed a bit. Maybe not hygienic but definitely gives your results, hehe.

Shea Moisture Montana Eye Shadow This beauty has been living on my lids. It can be either a light wash of colour or an intense metallic shine and I absolutely love pairing it with matte smokey browns through the crease.

Those are my favorites of the month! What have you been loving?
