Hi, I'm Amelia! I'm a full time student and beauty blogger living and working in the Southeast United States. I'm originally from England and hoping to move back to the UK soon. I'm an absolute beauty junkie (not helped by the fact that I work at a Cosmetics Company Store) and Harry Potter fanatic. If you want to get to know me better, you can read this post.

The Cutest Little Earrings Ever

A few weeks ago we went to this little boutique on a trip to the mountains and I found these gorgeous little studs. I thought they were all unique and cool but have since discovered they are in fact just beads from the craft store glued onto a stud, so you can totally make them yourself. Regardless, I only paid a few dollars for them and they are the perfect every day stud.

Can you spy all of my other "everyday studs"? I may have a problem...

In England

So I've been a bit lax on the posting because I'm currently visiting my family in England. There definitely won't be a video up until I'm back because the wifi is terrible out here, but I will try to sprinkle some blogposts!

How To: Fix A Broken Zipper

My favourite thing in the world is when I go to put on some shorts or jeans or whatever, and the zipper is broken. BUMMER. Although, I've found a pretty simple solution as long as the only problem is that the zipper is missing a few teeth. The missing teeth would also have to be pretty far down on the zipper, if it's too high up all you're really doing is sewing the zipper up and then your garment may not fit.
1. All you need is a broken zipper, scissors, some thread and a needle. I recommend a longer and thicker needle than my one, but it's all I could find. It works fine, a bigger needle just requires less time.
2. Make sure there is enough space to get the zip-pull back onto the top track of teeth, I had to cut a few out.
3. Pull the zip back onto the track.
4. Sew the hole left by the missing teeth to the other side of the track, be sure you repeat this step quite a few times to ensure it holds.
5. Line up the bottom half of the track.
6. Sew together the bottom part of the track, don't worry about being too clean here.

And you're done! Just put them on and zip up, super easy!
Let me know if you guys use this little trick

Succulents Are the Cutest Things Ever

The other day I wondered into West Elm and was mesmerized by their succulent displays. I decided I must have some. So, rather than spending a fortune on them there, I perused Ikea's selection. They definitely don't have as many options but I picked up these three cuties. They sit on my shelf in their little white pots and I love them. I'm already itching to plant some bigger pots around my room. I'm excited to try and find some more colourful ones, look at these beauties

Have any of you got succulents in your room/apartment/house? I think they're so fun!
