I was originally going to Ulta to pick up the Lorac Pro palette, but lo and behold, they were out, and I was very sad. So, unable to wait or control myself in the slightest, I snatched up the Naked 2 palette and brought it home with me. And I'm so glad I did. For some reason, this palette doesn't have great reviews. I'm slightly unsure as to why this one got no love and the Naked 3 is being raved about. To me, the shades in 3 are far too pink toned to work for most people, and some of the shades are glittery and bad quality. While I love the shade Blackheart, the others in the palette seem lackluster in comparison. I adored the first palette, but the colors are very warm toned which isn't the most flattering on my skin. I think that the Naked 2 palette is so universally flattering with the taupe-y shades and much more wearable for every day. The shades are matte and frosted versus the crazy glittery shades in the other two and I just think it's much more worth the $52 Urban Decay charges. Now, I've only used this once so I can't really give a proper in depth review, but from what I've seen, this is my new favorite palette, I wore Snakebite, Suspect, Busted, and Blackout today. I worked for 10 hours and they didn't budge. I did also use my UD Primer Potion just to be sure. As a first impression though, I love the choice in shades and how well each of these shades comes across on the skin.
In love!
